I write this sitting on stage, at a huge church auditorium in Kigali. We are 90 minutes before going live.
As I sit here, I am not nervous. I don’t understand why. But I also do.
I am ready.
When we are prepared, when we have done everything we can, when we have faith that things will go exactly as they should, there is no anxiety.
This is life - and yet, even though I can apply this so effortlessly to my singing, elsewhere seems a little harder.
How I do anything is how I do everything.
I can apply this everywhere.
I can apply this everywhere easily.
All I have to do is be aware and it will be effortless.
It is effortless.
